How do I get something to Colbert? Or at least his staff?
Remember when he took plain old "COAL-bert" County in Alabama and turned it into Colbert (pronounced properly) County for a week? Well, don't you know, running through the hard-hit but resiliently rebuilding Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans is... Colbert Street! It shouldn't be much of a stretch to get the residents of Nouvelle-Orleans to pronounce it correctly, either. (I'd post a pic of a nearly flooded street sign, but it's HUGH!!111!!11)

This is the moment the city has been waiting for! The power of every citizen of the Colbert Nation shall be brought to bear so that Colbert Street is restored to its rightful status as a monument to the truthiness of the Last Hero! I mean, we named a freakin' bridge in Hungary for him, for Stephen's sake! How hard can a street be?

Now all I need is a way to notify the man himself, or his close associates, of the impending effort. He did, after all, once claim to have been involved in "every facet of the relief effort", and if he said it, it must be true.

3. Holy crap, I just came up with the same idea last week!
There's a COAL-bert street in Newport Beach as well!

4. Perhaps a road trip through Colbert Nation is in order (dial-up alert)
there must be others out there. But only one was under several feet of water, because (as the Man would say) all those squishy-soft liberals spent all their time partying instead of fixing their levees. This Colbert Street must be the final destination of the tour:
