One of the most stupid, awful, destructive and sinister decisions ever made by our corporate-owned legislators was to allow Big Pharma to advertise their pills.

We are sick nation -- and drug ads contribute enormously to our sickness.

What REALLY bugs me is that "liberals" get blamed for the degradation and over-sexualization of our culture -- when it's the big predatory capitalist corporations that have lead the drive toward amoral sensationalism in order to boost their profits.

My own sons were already grown up when the ED commercials started infesting our airways, but I can certainly imagine how pissed off I would be if I had to explain ED to a 4 year-old. Of all the problems in the world, men having a problem getting a boner is way down on my list...
