Who has seen "The Holiday" w/ Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz,

Jude Law, Jack Black, EliWallach, and two of the cutest most precious little girls ....

My wife had lunch w/ the head of the Gov't. Dept. at TWU who recommended it, so we went to see it at the Movie Tavern last week. My daughter just got into town this afternoon and wanted to see it so we went again.

It is really delightful. I felt it was uplifting too ... a lot there about taking control of your own life.
good Movie

My wife said that she had seen bad reviews for it, but we really liked it.

Comments anyone?

2. I thought it was OK

I liked the Jack Black and Kate Winslet characters, but I think Cameron Diaz was really chewing up the scenery too much. I also thought it was a little too long and slow in parts.
So I'd give it 6/10.

3. Fair comments _ I tend to agree

though I would rate it higher precisely becaus of Kate and Jack - I also liked Eli Wallach and his buddies. Iris gets gumption.

I didn't care for CD as much (I think your comment was on the money) However, I liked Jude Law, because I myself have two little girls and am, in fact, a weeper. And those little girls were sooooooo precious.
