QUICK!
Somebody give me a backrub.

I've been rolling out and baking cookies, cooking up more green chili, chopping and slicing the stuff that will hold and making enchiladas for Christmas Eve dinner for the past seven hourswith one break to shovel some snow and walk the dog.

Now it's time to work. Songs to rehearse, one to finish writing and another writing assignment "due" New Year's Eve.

My back is killing me, but in a very very good way.

1. Rub, rub, knead, knead....
I'm glad I could help. It also helps me prepare for my cooking marathon that starts tomorrow. :)

3. have fun!
What's for dinner?

My Christmas Eve menu is chicken enchiladas, homemade tamales and a bunch of "trimmings."

I would have waited, but I opted for stuff that can be prepared in advance because I have a gig (knock on wood that my throat crud lets me sing) tomorrow night.

Yikes! just had to run and put the frijoles on to soak.

8. I baked some sugar cookies
had to roll them out with a wine bottle wrapped in plastic wrap

and cut them with an improvised cookie cutter.

But they are pretty yummy. Do you have the right shaped cookie cutters?

9. nope.
I'm thinking a sharp knife and sprinkles.

The wine bottle is a GREAT idea! Do you think a Southern Comfort bottle would work? I have an empty one or two laying around....

13. You could try one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/HoMedics-SBM-200-Therapist-Shiatsu-Massaging/dp/B0000AKT6Q/sr=1-2/qid=1166919050/ref=sr_1_2/103-0232297-3811029?ie=UTF8&s=hpc

I recently bought one. As much as I don't care for machines, they just don't care what I say.
