I rode my scooter from St Louis MO to Springfield IL yesterday afternoon. The ride was good until the very last hour when I just wanted it to be OVER.
This really isn't about the ride but my lament...I rode up here because it is my mom's 71st birthday and now I can't be with her. Seems I have the flu.the whole shebang from BOTH ends. My mom is diabetic and I dare not go around her if I am running a fever, which I think I am. I hope this has passed before I have to go back to St Louis on Tuesday.
Until then I just need some DU hugs. Feeling down.
6. Sorry, but it probably is better you not be around her

until you are better. It doesn't make it any easier since it is the holidays. I'm sorry. I hope you get well soon and can see your mom in the near future. :hugs:
You can lament with me; I'm thousands of miles away from my family again this Christmas. I'm used to it 363 days out of the year, but Christmas Eve and Christmas are rough.
