My obsession with Africam has led me to plan for a big African
safari. This will take place after I win the lottery. Come to think of it, I'll be doing a lot of fun things after I win the lottery. Anyway, here is a website for the lodge which is next to the watering hole (I think the lodge is to the left of the watering hole):

http://www.nkorho.com/

I was looking at some other safari tour sites, and you can get a pretty dee-lux week-long package, with luxury accommodations, for between 3-6K depending on the season.

Anyone want to go with me?

2. Did you see the cost on that? Almost 47,000 acres for only 6.1 million dollars?
Hell, we could raise that during our next fundraiser! Wanna propose that to Skinner? :D

Mess with him at your own peril, bub.

10. I'm With You!
I've been watching that watering hole off and on lately.

during the day here (night there) it is NOISY but man there is some cool stuff happening.

I've seen a large cat (Lioness? Tiger?) drinking, hyenas, water buffalo? lots of birds, all coming to the watering hole at different times.

I am amazed at this. I've forwarded the link to lots of people.

I can sit there and get nothing done because of that watering hole!

Africa, here I come!

I'm in!

16. just two nights ago I was looking for safaris online
I'm not sure what country I'd like to go to. Kenya? Tanzania? South Africa? And at what age should my daughter be? She's only 16 months now. Maybe 5 years old?

In the meantime, we are planning a trip to San Diego for the Spring of 2008. She'll be 2 1/2 and I'm sure will just love it. We watch the cam every morning at breakfast.

17. I would suggest Kenya and Tanzania. Do the Masai Mara,
Nogorongoro Crater, and Serengeti. And I would wait till my daughter was at least 10 years old, so she can get the full benefitof everything.

18. I have wanted to do that for a long time, but
my recent visits to Africam have definitely re-fueled the dream. I admit I spent half of a very slow work day yesterday looking at prices and wishing I could swing it!
