I am having a nerdy new year's!!!

I will be staying home and reorganizing my Yu-Gi-Oh card collection and watching all 6 Star Wars. I also will be watching the ball drop in New York on ABC. I have 2 bottles of pink champaign to ring in the New Year with.

I have tons of trading cards myself.

New Year's Eve. We would go with friends to a club and have a pretty good time. Then one year we just got kind of got burned out. We went to this club that was really packed. Hardly enough room to dance. A long line for the buffet. While we were there a snow storm was hitting us. When we got ready to leave, the bouncer would not let us go because a drunk was in the parking lot threatening everyone with a wrench. So, we waited until the police arrived. Then we drove home in the storm--slipping and sliding all the way. We decided after that that we would opt for a quiet evening at home on New Year's Eve and go out the night before or after instead. It's worked out fine and we have been having a much better time.

.. a bottle of wine, some TV, then listen to the gunfire outside at midnight (staying away from windows). It quiets down after a few minutes.
