I dreamt I met Bob Marley last night
Seriously. He had very graciously offered to help me record some songs, and I was incredibly grateful for his help. We greeted eachother warmly, and I took my guitar out of its case, but as I tried to play a chord I found that one of the strings was broken. As I began unthreading it, I noticed that several others were broken as well. And I had no replacement strings anywhere that I could find!

I couldn't jam with Bob!!!

Next time, Bob. I'll have the damned strings ready to go, I promise!

Do you ever meet people in your dreams?

1. yes
I once dreamed that I was having tea with Gandhi and Nelson Mandela and we were waiting for Bob Marley to come. When he finally came we had our tea and talked.

Then there are those dreams that involve my crushes, I love those :)

3. Tea with Ghandi? I'm jealous!
:)

Unfortunately, I've also met people who aren't so nice. In three different dreams I met Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and Bush, and had dark, unpleasant experiences; except for Wolfowitz, who was very gregarious and hail-fellow-well-met.

2. Alive as you and me
I said, But Bob, you're ten years dead,
I never died, said he
I never died, said he.

Oh wait, that's "Joe Hill". Works for Bob, though.

:hi:

Wow, I just read up on him.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Hill

My will is easy to decide
For there is nothing to divide
My kin don't need to fuss and moan
"Moss does not cling to a rolling stone."
My body? - Oh. - If I could choose
I would to ashes it reduce
And let the merry breezes blow
My dust to where some flowers grow

Perhaps some fading flower then
Would come to life and bloom again

This is my Last and final Will
Good Luck to All of you

Joe Hill

That is...beautiful.

5. Not only is that my will, that's my divorce settlement, too.
My STBX said, "I did the math. I could hire an attorney for what, ten or twenty thousand dollars and get what?"

"Yep!" I said. "Not even the sharpest shark in the sea can squeeze blood from a turnip!"

And vice versa.

Something to be said for poverty!
