iPod question regarding "full" iPod & de-selecting songs
I was given an iPod nano that holds roughly 500 songs. I have more songs than that in my iTunes library, and I want to change out some of the songs. So, I've "deselected" several songs by "unchecking" them in iTunes and then tried to update the nano. However, I keep getting the message that it cannot update because the iPod is full. I'd rather not delete the songs from the library permanently.

Has anyone else run into this? Thanks! :hi:

1. you should just be able to highlight the song you want removed and hit delete.
make sure you have your preference set to "Manage song list manually"
