Because my best work asset is the ability to make neat pivot data - here's a break down of the states with the number of toll roads, bridges, tunnels, ferries in their state.

As you can see Delaware is WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY there on the bottom of the list!!

1. PA 22
that's how we pay for all of our (wonderful) roads.... :sarcasm:

sigh. The gov. wants our turnpike to be privatized, as well, but no one is biting!

3. Well, to be fair,
3 of the 4 for MA are in Boston, and either tunnels or bridges. We really only have one main one for the state, and that's the Pike :)

5. Well to be really fair the Delaware Memorial Bridge is techically both DE and NJ
so we really are 2.5 tolls with the 95 toll and the toll for the beach highway (which I never take)

6. Fun Fact: There is only ONE toll road in Illinois named after a person.
That's the "Ronald Reagan" tollway. The others are named after the routes they take so everyone knows where they are and where they're going.

(No charge to ride the Kennedy or the Eisenhower.)

11. I don't know about you GNC, but I never refer to that particular
road by that name. To me it's I-88 or the East-West toll road.

13. Delaware makes up for it with endless speed traps.
Like dropping the speed limit from 50 to 35 and having the cops sitting ten feet past the sign. :spank:

It's ok to be a Delawarean.
