Yoko Ono is not ALL THINGS to ALL PEOPLE...but sometimes genius just happens.
She did one HELL of a demonstration piece on the lawn of the Detroit Institute of Art:

If art can disturb and unsettle, this was true art. My 10 year old (at the time) said "This Yoko Ono is really something."

This was buried on another thread. I found the piece VERY disturbing, especially the sounds. I got right up close to it, like a jew transported to Auschwitz would have been. I walked away VERY shaky.

2. I remember distinctly the INSTANT I realized what it was.
The thought still makes me very uncomfortable. KUDOS to Ono.
