1. Leave on vacation!!
Off to Lake Tahoe for a week with the family....we're taking the bikes, of course. :woohoo:

Good luck with everything! :hi:

Make sure you take some time out for some R&R....maybe even a bike ride, eh?

7. finish cleaning the pool tiles, this will be day 3 of this awful tedious project
and i am so sore but i'm going on vacation in July and would rather spend $500 enjoying myself instead of paying the pool tile cleaner guy. Washing the car, taking my daughter to her friends house for the day tomorrow and on Sunday my Friends daughter is turning 18 so there is a party for her.

16. Tell us more about the Border Collie rescue, OK?
Do you find homes for them?

They are beautiful dogs but high-energy! I would imagine there are a lot of them given up when they become too much for their owners. How wonderful of you to do this kind of work!

27. Hi
:hi:

I would be happy to...

There is a rescue farm in my area that was established specifically to take in displaced Border Collies. The dogs are transported there by volunteers that form a transport "chain". Each volunteer drives apx. 2 hours one-way to pick up the dogs, and transport them to the next link in the chain, or directly to the farm.

Dogs from as far away as Hurricane Katrina has been transported to New York State.

And yes, sadly, many of the transports are a result of owners giving the dogs up.

Thank you for your kind words :D

14. NYC's Gay Pride Parade Rolls Through My Neighborhood on Sunday
which means I have to go somewhere else all day on Sunday.

Nothing against Gays. It's just that having a major parade in your neighborhood is a major hassle because of the crowds and the trash.

22. I'm exhausted just looking at that list!
I have to mow, weed, clip, and plant.

Put the house back together after painters finish tonight.

Fold and put away laundry.

Grocery shop.

Find flooring companies for bids on new kitchen floor.

Attend outdoor festival.

I know I'll take care of the last one and maybe some of the others. If I get it all done, I'll be amazed.

31. I don't think so and I'm too lazy to Google it to find out
The New River is a very long river. I suspect you're thinking of the part in West Virginia with that bridge that people base jump off of once a year. This is a state park in the southwest corner of Virginia. 57 miles of converted railroad track that's incredibly scenic and reletively flat. I'm guessing it's about 150 miles from the climbing area. Here's the link:
