So, how's your weekend so far?
Oh, mine's been a joy...:P :sarcasm: Our deep freeze gave out, and we discovered it when my husband went into the garage to get something out of it yesterday afternoon. Everything was thawed, and if he hadn't needed something when he did, it would have been far worse. We spent the afternoon throwing out thawed food and hosing out the freezer. :( The only good thing about all this is that we had just used the last package of chicken from the freezer early last week and had no more meat stored in it. We mainly had fruit, vegetables, and frozen meals. The freezer's not that old, and it's still under warranty. Time to call for service.

On top of that, I broke a tooth yesterday evening. One of my molars on the lower right side. I just had a dental cleaning on Thursday, and they must have loosened something that was already at least partially fractured, because I was eating a soft piece of bread when it happened. :( I most definitely will have to have a crown, and I'll probably have to have a root canal...so what the dental insurance doesn't cover, I'll have to. Total cost will be about $2000, so after insurance, I'm sure it'll be about $1000 out of pocket. :( Of all teeth to have this happen to, molars are the most expensive to work with.

I should just stay in bed today. Maybe nothing else will happen. :P

I hope your weekend is going better!

1. I hope things start going better for you.
I'm doing alright. I wanted to move some stuff today into my new condo, but it's been raining. Hopefully it will dry out soon.

4. Thanks, Droopy!
:hi: I hope the new condo is exactly what you wanted! :) It's always fun moving into a new place, especially one that's all your own. :D (The moving part isn't so fun, but the newness is. :))

2. Oh NWC
Sorry
Mine is going ok so far.
I drank beer last night at a bowling alley and got to listen to shitty mullet rock.
And cheesy hair bands from late 80's and early 90's
Musically it was hell and I sucked ass on the lanes.
I seen the gutter more times than a wino.

6. "Shitty mullet rock"?
:spray:  Man, that must have been awful. :P I suck at bowling too, so don't feel too bad. I hope to hell they didn't play The Final Countdown, 'cause that's one of the suckiest mullet rock songs on earth. :puke: I scream in pain whenever I hear that song---it's the whining of the lead singer that just stabs my brain. :( I only listen to that song if I have no choice, like in a bowling alley drinking beer. :P

Thanks, man.

10. Thanks, Heidi...
 :) It seems that dental drama always occurs on weekends or holidays. :( I haven't had any in quite a while, but my husband (who has congenital dental problems) has it frequently. It stinks, doesn't it? :pals:

11. Yep, that's always the way it goes.
My last dental drama was years ago, right after I moved to a city where I knew no one and hadn't yet found a dentist. x( I went through a lot of ibuprofen that weekend.

Sending you good vibes.

5. What more could
possibly happen to you this weekend? Hope things improve.

My weekend has been low key, but I planned it that way. Yesterday I would do a chore, nap, repeat. Today I'm planning the same.

Hope this helps >>>>

12. That sucks. I hope the tooth doesn't hurt.
I did LOL at your line "I should just stay in bed today. Maybe nothing else will happen.", because if I'm going to spend a day in bed, SOMETHING better happen! :)

My weekend is going great though. Dinner with friends, boating, exercise, and the kids are away... :)

13. ROFL! Good point...
 Gotta agree with you there...To more clearly define my statement: Nothing BAD will happen there....:P

Fortunately, the tooth doesn't hurt at all. The edge where it's broken is rough, but about 1/4 of the inner surface sheared off. It looks perfectly normal from all angles except where it's broken, and it can wait until tomorrow until I can see the dentist. I'm grateful it's not worse. :)

Your weekend sounds wonderful! :) Have a great Sunday!
