29. They're very smart
When Mr Gen got home from the hospital, we told Sidney that he was at the Vet's (she knows that word and understands what it means) and that he had Boo Boos. She jumped up and smelled his IV area and his neck. After that every time I said Daddy has a Boo Boo she would jump up and look at all of his wounds. She had this very concerned look on her face -- like she really understood.

Our male is more mechanically smart. He can unwind himself from the tree by grabbing his lead and tugging to see which way he's tangled up.
