So I was just informed that my girlfriend and I have an anniversary coming up..

She wants to know if it is a fancy dinner or eat ice cream in the park type of night.. She wants to know how to dress.

It has been about a year since we met.. I'm not really sure of the actual date. I never asked her to be my girlfriend, it just happened. What metric could she be using? First date, sex, or first "I love you?" I don't know what event she is using as a marker for anniversary. And I don't know the actual date of any of those events.

Any advice on how to get this info out of her? Suggestions for subtle questions that could provide answers are welcome.

And, I will try honesty when she wakes up. I would like to avoid that if I can.

You might try seizing the offensive, pick a date and tell her it was the first time you dreamed of her.

My guess is that it's most likely your first date. What, you didn't write it down in your diary? You obviously don't care about her, her feelings and.or the relationship.

Not to worry, we flunk these things all the time and still muddle through somehow.

It's hard to imagine people remembering actual dates for a lot of stuff, unless they keep some sort of record or diary. That's way too organized.

6. You are right...

I asked her and she was fucking with me. She thought it would be funny to stress me out. She knew we didn't have a actual date set. It was a backhanded and evil way of getting one set. June 25 it is. I'm a little pissed about the whole thing. But, it would be funny if it happened to someone else.
