Unless they find somebody great to replace him. I don't think Adebayor can get it done on quite that level.

At the same time, if it ended up being $32m as was initially reported, that's an awful lot to pay for a 29 year old striker coming off of an off-year.

...as long as you don't expect him to hit, say, the broadside of a barn with one of his shots. Great creative player, not much of a scorer.

We were a bit lucky to stay up last year, after the late season slump. But when your big offseason signing is a Northern Ireland international from Aston Villa that couldn't make it with Newcastle (Aaron Hughes), you can understand how we might be in for a long season again. :)
