referred to Bush as "Chimpy McDumbAss".

2. I just might start after hearing that.
What kind of show is it? I need a new one...I am just about over CSI and that was my main show that I watched...it is losing it's appeal for me now for some reason. :hi:

4. Basically a show within a show. "Studio 60" is a Saturday Night Live
type show. Same guy who did West Wing put this show together. Unfortunately, NBC canceled it; there was a bit of a flap about it, and the are now showing the last 6 episodes.

I am really bummed, because it's a smart show. (That's probably why they canceled it. x( )

13. It took about 4-5 shows to hit its mark
IMO, and then when it did it had lost many of the critics, and never regained it's ratings momentum. It was not nearly as low as other shows, darn NBC execs.

16. I know. Stinks to heaven. Our "instant gratification" mind set can no longer
tolerate giving something or someone for than a wink and a nod to work out.

Instead, we get all these fucking "reality" shows. Not putting anyone down who watches such shows, but for many of us, a greater choice would be wonderful.

9. Yup, I believe it was.
You know, the Jericho fans managed to get a second life for that show by sending tons of peanuts to the network.

What could we send to try and salvage it?

10. i already wrote the network on Studio 60, Jericho isn't close to the same
class as the Sorkin drama

12. I've never watched Jericho, though I know (obviously) it has a lot
of fans. And for them (MrSG included), I'm glad they saved it for awhile at least.

But yeah, Sorkin is in a class by himself. I absolutely loved The West Wing, and knew I would love Studio 60. I was right!

I swear though, if a show has a brain, it's almlost surely a goner. :banghead:

15. I have ALL the M*A*SH episodes on tape. Can't stand the current ones,
so when I'm in the mood for a sit-com (or rather, dramedy), out come the tapes.

17. It was an excellent series finale, tied up all the loose ends &
maintained both the humor & Sorkin's sense of gravitas. I loved this show.
