1. My kids.
At least a couple of 'em. Books 1-5 have been making the rounds for the past few weeks...now they're trying to make book 6 last.

Please, let it be over soon...

13. Another Potter nerd here
I believe in the final book he will destroy the horcruxes that contain parts of Voldemort's soul only to find that he has the final horcrux in his scar. Harry will have to kill himself to destroy Voldemort. And then he will be restored to life by the tears of Fawkes but only through the special effort made by the members of Dumbledore's Army to make it happen.

While in the afterlife Harry will encounter Dumbledore, Sirius Black, and his parents who will impart wisdom to him and one of them will give him a magical talisman he can bring back with him. After being restored to life by Fawkes and the talisman, Harry will graduate from Hogwarts and become the new defense of the dark arts teacher.

J.K. Rowling will continue writing books about this world. She will create a new villian. Perhaps Snape becomes the new arch enemy. Harry Potter will live on but the emphasis if the story will shift to the next generation of young wizards.

Damn. I should be doing this for a living.

I work Saturdays, just a hundred yards from a bookstore. I didn't think I would run out and get Half-Blood Prince, but I did. I presume I'll go get Deathly Hallows as soon as the place opens.

26. For all us HP nerds I found this story about Book 7...
LONDON (Reuters) - Best-selling author J.K. Rowling revealed how she broke down in tears during the completion of her final book in the Harry Potter series.

She also tells interviewer Jonathan Ross how she changed the last word in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" at the eleventh hour.

"When I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled," she told the BBC television presenter.

She finished the book alone in a hotel room.

"I was sobbing my heart out -- I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and went home with mascara all over my face. That was really tough."

Rowling was "howling" at the end?!?! OMG......

I'm just as excited for Book 7 as I have been for ANY music release - that says something! I'm not going to read any spoilers while I'm reading the book. I did see the supposed ending that people who claimed to have hacked into publishing house have put out. One death that they report is pretty expected by me. The other one is surprising, but plausible. The report should be treated with a grain of salt, though.

Definitely putting off all activities for the weekend of the book's release. Now 2 weeks away and counting!

Wanna see how it ends. I was about 12 when I started reading them. Now I'm 19. So it goes...
