1. I would think you should put it on anything that trips your trigger.
Never tried it. What's it taste like? And PLEASE don't say "chicken!"

2. Pita bread, of course, dip for vegetables, and as a sauce for chicken,

falafel, or eggplant dishes. If made a little on the thicker side, yes, it would make a fine sandwich spread - you could add greens, onions and cucumbers (and tomatoes if you really Must) to that.

8. If you love eggplant, look for baba ganoush near the hummus.
Baba is eggplant spread with a similar texture hummus and it's also a very good spread for sandwiches.

Hummus can be used as a raw veggie dip. Hummus in the center of a platter with carrot, cucumber, and celery sticks and small pita loaves cut into wedges is a great appetizer. I serve it with a small pile of Greek black olives on the side as a garnish.

especially cucumber and eggplant sandwiches. ues it as a condiment, like mayo, rather than a main ingredent.

6. get you some good olive oil and drizzle it on top
some afghan flat bread or fresh pita from arabic baker is the bomb.

and olives: good olives like the kind they sell in the tubs at the grocery store: calamata, the big, green greek ones.

and some kifta or souvlaki.

oh, and fresh feta, any kind of feta to sprinkle around.

tres yummay!

9. I like it on bread, sandwiches, and as a dip for carrots, celery, peppers, etc
Actually, it's good in a variety of ways, and goes well with baba ganouj and/or falafel, or on any kind of wrap sandwich. I've even used it in a cold past salad to thicken it up a bit (cold pasta with oil, balsamic vinegar, a little hummus, caramelized onions, garlic, and sweet bell peppers). I eat it on baby carrots regularly.
