I could listen to that album on a daily basis - hell I practically do already.

Anyone else a big fan of this album?

3. You have a solid point there my friend - a real solid point
but if I had to choose between the two I'd still go for the Radiohead album

5. I would put U2's "Joshua Tree" or Jane's Addiction's "Nothing's Shocking" up against...
...Radiohead any day of the week.

6. I love it, but everybody in the house whines if I play it.
Thanks to JackMN and my need to attend to his musical demands (hence avoiding tantrums,) we've heard nothing but Green Day for the majority of the last week.

7. Green Day is definately not a bad choice
Anytime I drive home to visit family in Pennsylvania I tend to put their live album "Bullet in a Bible" on volume 11 and sing it loudly all the way home

And dancing to Green Day is exhausting.

I love that he is a fan of Green Day, that's very cool
my 11 year old has very non-punkish tastes, and is more of a Beatle fan. He always says, Mom, your music is too loud!

But there are a few I can think of. Right now I will just pick Thick as a Brick...:toast:

There's literally thousands of records better than anything Zep has done, but I'd pick Slint's "Spiderland" right off the top of my head:

I love the bends and hail to the thief. 'A Wolf at the Door' ties 'Motion Picture Soundtrack' for my fav radiohead song.

Every song on that album kicks ass, just like Zep's fourth album.

Some of the cuts on "OK Computer" are a little weak. I do like the album though.

30. I'll add "Exile on Main St." "Cypress/Afoot" "Saturation" "Lolita Nation" and "Highway 61 Revisited"
by
The Stones
LEt's Active
Urge Overkill
Game Theory <---that may very well be the best album ever
Dylan

and of course "Roman Gods" by the Fleshtones

but the first VH album is (was) a era altering phenomenon

32. Robert Plant was a big Let's Active fan
I think his favorite album of theirs was Big Plans for Everybody though.
I'm totally serious. He mentioned them in several interviews back in the mid-80s

'nuff said.

Although in the interest of full disclosure I don't much care for Zeppelin either.

On edit: I'm glad you've found stuff that keeps your groove movin' though! :)
