28. Personally, it's always made perfect sense to me to call it "Football"
You use your feet to kick the ball, and sometimes the goalie will touch the ball. Unlike American Football, where you mostly hold the ball, and sometimes kick it.

American football should be called soccer, and what we call "soccer" should be called football! :P

31. People calling it soccer pisses me off.
It's FOOTBALL. American "football" is a bastardized, wimpified version of a cross between rugby and FOOTBALL. Only they wear pads and whine when they get tackled.
REAL football players wear shin guards and MAYBE a cup and go balls to the wall for 90 minutes. All for maybe a draw! Yeah. But in American Soccer ( :grr: ) they play until someone wins because someone always has to win in this culture. FREAKS.
