My pupils are dilated
And, no. I do not teach the Bradley method of natural childbirth.

I had my vision checked this afternoon. My wonderful eagle eyed 20/20 vision has degenerated to 20/150. That's what I get for waiting 20 years to see an optometrist. Looks like I'm taking a trip to bifocal-land.

1. I once walked out into a snowstorm with diluted pupils after an eye exam.
That was interesting. So was trying to read the menu at the restaurant where I stopped for lunch. I could read the specials board on the other side of the room, but not the menu in my hand. (Actually, now that I'm an old man, I have that experience without having my pupils dilated!)

2. Driving home was a bitch
I wore my wrap around polarized sunglasses over my drugstore reading glasses and squinted my way home. The worst part was that I was behind a blinding white car most of the way home.

3. Another time I had to drive to an audition immediately after the eye exam.
The guy handed me some music to sight read, and I had such a time!

4. I hate that feeling!
I also hate it when they numb your eyes for the pressure test. When it wears off it is the strangest feeling!

Glad you got 'em checked, though. :hi:

Welcome to the world of the visionally challenged! :D
