Some pictures from the weekend (cross-posted from Photography group)
Seagulls are actually fairly easy birds to photograph, but I still thought these shots turned out pretty well for birds in flight. They were taken from the ferry from Woods Hole on Cape Cod out to Martha's Vineyard (my girlfriend and I went for a day trip out there yesterday since it's the first day we've both had off in months).



















And just for the heck of it, here's one of she and I parasailing taken by a random stranger (who was very friendly but had to brag about her friendship with the Republican candidate for Marty Meehan's seat and how wonderful he would be).

1. Wow those are stunning!
I especially like the last one of the gull. The wake from the boat makes it look rather dramatic.

8. Hey ET Awful. I love them.
These Black-backed gulls are very nicely done especially the first three, nice and sharp. Gulls are great birds with which you can practice in flight photography because they tend to fly a bit slower at times and especially when following boats they almost tend to hover plus many aren't afraid of humans. You did a great job. I love the eye contact.

Me, I couldn't get the birds in flight without everything being blurred.

When I looked at the subject line on your post I thought it said it was a cross post from the Pornography forum. I was really excited and wondered how I had missed a pornography forum. I think it's time to get my glasses changed.
