ok. we got her narrowed down to friday night, aug 3. now the question is- where. lots of folks are staying at the mc cormick place hyatt. this is not tooooo hard to get to for those of us that live here, but it does take a shuttle bus, etc. the hilton on south michigan avenue is also one of the hotels where folks are staying. it is a little more accessible for the locals, but does require the visitors to shuttle/cab/take a long walk to get there. i just kinda like it for the history of the hotel and rowdy democrats. i guess you gotta be old to get the jokes, like this time we will use the door.
so, even if you are not going to be here, feel free to vote in this poll. i am having a very hard time keeping a thread going. i know that us locals are looking forward to meeting up, but i don't feel like the word has gotten out.
