What's the best way to get from the Newark Airport to 48th St. Weehawken NJ?

If I take a Cab how much is it per mile? Is there a bus or subway to that area that is not too difficult to navigate at 10:30 at night?

My plain is delayed and so I will be getting in very late and I don't want to be messing around when I get in. Any help would be awesome!

1. There's a train that runs from Newark Airport to Secaucus Junction
There's also a bus that runs from Secaucus to Weehawken (I think it'll drop you off at 30th St & JFK Blvd). Now I don't know the schedules of this and I don't know how far Secaucus Junction is from where the bus stop is.

NJtransit.com can give you more info.

3. I've never taken a cab in NJ but I think they're pretty pricy
You could probably save a few bucks by taking the train to Secaucus then the cab to Weehawken. It'll cut the cab ride in half.

6. Is Woodridge too far north?
I suppose I could take a cab from Secaucus or Woodridge. Anyway, that looks like the way to go and there is a train that leaves the Airport at 11:05 which would be perfect. Thanks

8. Actually -- Woodbridge is too far south
Secaucus is quite close to Weehawken. You shouldn't have a problem getting a cab from Secaucus Junction. It's a huge train station. All the NJ lines converge there before heading into NYC.

4. Don't know, but here's a good link for you
Ground transportation resources out of EWR :
Note that the New Jersey links are after NYC links and there are several airport shuttle companies -- if they serve Weehawken that may be the cheapest and easiest way to go at that hour.
