25. there was a thin slat across the seat-frame and it broke - result scrambled eggs
It was on the DVD in the 'making of' documentary.

I've seen the film but I was talking to someone about it who had seen the documentary.

The slat was meant to protect the actor while shooting, placed so as not to show up on camera. It just wasn't strong enough to withstand the impact of the weighted line. It failed at the second or third hit.
