7. 'Appropriate' meaning the sort of photo
about which I would've asked, "You sure you want to use this one?" when I was a newspaper editor.

If they said, "Yeah, that's how he'd like to be remembered," I'd say okay.

that we wouldn't mock the deceased.

Maybe that's just how he looked. Maybe that's how he was most recognized. I hate to think that my shitty DU picture here would be my final image, but if that's how I really was and looked, then so be it.
