Edited on Thu Jul-26-07 06:42 PM by femmocrat
I have spent all day baking zucchini breads and cake. Tomorrow I have to run out for more flour and eggs so I can make zucchini pie and muffins.

Anybody want some? Anyone have any good zucchini recipes???

10. It's kind of like a quiche, I think. I never made it before, but it looked good in the cookbook.

7. Jeez louise, zucchini is next to impossible to give away this time of the year unless...
you use a secret I was taught years ago. The secret is this:

(remember it's a secret)

(Don't tell anyone)

here it is:

When the zucchinis are very tiny you scratch the names of all the kids in the neighborhood all the fledgling zucchinis. As the Zucchinis grow, the name grows, too. No kid will refuse one with his name on it, I guarantee it!.

9. Ah, that is so cute!
I wonder if that would work with pumpkins.... now that would be a huge hit.

13. Yes, the scarring works well on pumpkins, too
A clever person could use the scarring for effect when it comes around to carving them (hint, hint, wink, wink)
