Would-Be Johns Sentenced To Wear Chicken Costume

An Ohio judge known for handing out unusual sentences has ordered three men who pleaded guilty to soliciting sex to wear a chicken costume.

Judge Michael Cicconetti agreed to give each man a 30-day suspended sentence if they would wear the borrowed costume on Friday outside the courthouse in Painesville, Ohio.

They must also carry a sign that reads, "No Chicken Ranch in Painesville."

Officials said they are trying to send a strong message that they won't tolerate solicitation in the city.
