In my house we have an old TI-99 computer (circa late 1970s early 1980s)
We also have a copies of both "Hunt the Wumpus" and "Lunar Lander" for it.

3. The old TI-99
when I started school in 1983, our elementary school had one for each classroom, and three or four in the library. The library had a catalog of cartridges you could check out.

That was a lot of computer access for 1983.

Hubby started in 1981, fiddling with a built-out model featuring two floppy disk drives.

It was from the Heathkit store in Boston.
