9. Anyone could have seen I was a caretaker in training.
I had a whole ward set up in the garage for sick dolls. Of course, Dr. Kevorkian wasn't big yet. :)

3. They still have the Evel Knievel toys?
I had those when I was a kid, 30+ years ago!

5. I remember those, with the plastic pull thing that made it rev up and go
I had the rocket toy he was using to jump the grand canyon (if I recall correctly).

6. Sorry, you recall wrong.
The Evel Knievel toy wound up with a crank. You're thinking of those "SSP" toy cars.

7. My sister and I each had a Mrs Beasley
She talked. One thing I remember her saying was "Would you like to try on my glasses? You may if you wish" Unfortunately the first thing that I lost was her glasses.

8. Doug and I were collectors. We loved snooping around
finding old toys. I was into Fisher-Price pull toys, in particular. But I did once find a great FP toy cash register in Kansas City with all the original plastic coins. For $20. :woohoo:

10. Speaking of Fisher-Price...
My Mom bought for my little sisters in 1970, the "Little People" house, barn and airport. My Mom still has all three, for the GREAT-grandchildren to play with nowadays!
