1. Who?
Miller? I would never have thought Dennis Miller to be a conservative after reading all his books, and seeing his HBO specials. AntiPolitical maybe, but not conservative.....

"But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong."

4. Full fucking fledged bootlicking Neocon
He is REALLY, REALLY pro-right. He didn't used to be. But he had one of those 9-11 "awakenings" in which all preconcieved political ideas were dashed away in favor of unbridled nationalism.

24. The defining attribute of a NeoCon
Is hatred of government. Miller has always been an anger driven comic.

29. Have you been asleep?
MIller's been flying around with George on Air Force One and has been totally a whore for Bush. He's unwatchable now...gets all his talking points straight from Rove.

3. Producers
tend to be very conservative. And Ms. Derek isn't even B list anymore. While quite pretty, she can't act worth shit, and never could. The only movie she even did a passable job in was "10", Blake Edwards was a genius to get that modest performance from her.

Oh, and Drew Carey is a far right wing conservative.

5. You're right about Derek
and no-talent Drew Carey's "humor" is cruel and petty.

It's not possible to be a real artist if you lack humanity. But that's no barrier to being a Republican.

26. Disagree with your statement
Richard Wagner was by most acounts a horrible human being who probably by most standards was a waste of carbon based life but he was undeniably a great artist.

There are lots of other examples who disprove your statement but I decided to stick to one of the more obvious cases.

7. That I know of (in addition to your list)
James Woods
Ron Silver (Bruno Gianelli on the "West Wing", Barlett's campaign
manager; character very much based on Dick Morris)

Shannon Doherty (washed up spoiled brat)
Florence Henderson (Carol Brady)
Britney Spears might be, but I can't see why given the religious right's hatred of her.
Fred and Ben Savage (Kevin Arnold on the "Wonder Years", and Cory on "Boy Meets World")
Rick Schroeder ("Silver Spoons", "NYPD Blue")

Edited on Mon Aug-04-03 01:15 AM by Bombtrack
but according to everyone here if you weren't anti-Iraq-war you can't be a liberal.

Where did you here that the savage bro's are conservative?
They obviously havn't acted in a while, so they couldn't have been taxed too bad if they're still living off long-cancelled shows

11. Silver and Savage
Both of the Savage brothers were on Bill Maher's P.I. show and showed themselves to be right wing loons (Fred was worse than Ben).

Ron Silver has been on H&C defending the war. On what issues is he a liberal activist?

Does anyone here think the "Savage Bros" will be enlisting anytime soon, like the rest of their blowhard neocon buds? I guess we shouldn't hold our collective breath waiting for them to be deployed.

14. Ron Silver replaced Tucker Carlson
when he was on vacation on Crossfire. Maybe his politics are Republican in the old fashioned sense. But I thoroughly enjoyed his appearance on the show. He is very intelligent and seemed to want to have an in depth discussion of the issues with the person on the left.
Always like him as an actor and though I don't agree with his conclusions, he introduced a very appealing style of discourse to Crossfire where people might actually learn from each other.

Haven't watched since because when the vacation was over it was back to the clown acts that pass for political commentary in media.

10. All of those commie...............
Hollywood Liberals should just keep their mouths shut, what could they possibly know about the state of affairs in the world? Oh, I guess that only applies to Hollywood stars who are Liberal. Conservative stars who blindly back Bush and his policies are BRILLIANT and should immediately run for office. I wonder why O'Reilly, Hannity etal. never condemn stars who back Bush? They must be far superior in intelligence than those Liberal commies.

While still a "liberal," Grammer got shook up over 9/11 (his good friend and Fraiser co-creator David Angell died in the WTC attack) and has been a Bush supporter since.

Edited on Mon Aug-04-03 03:36 PM by mitchum
I saw her on PI a few years ago and she was horrified by the idea of "socialism"- "...why should someone sit on their ass and get my hard earned money?...if you can make an fortune and retire at forty, why shouldn't you keep all of your money?" Well honey, due to the nature of your "talent", you will have to retire at forty (fortune or not)
