Picture hanging help Please and thank you

Do you guys have any wonderful ways to hang pictures? Most of my walls are 120 year old plaster but want to hang some pix in a room that was fixed with a sheet of drywall. Have any of you tried the Hercules Hook that Billy Mays screams about? Or should I stick with the old picture hanging hooks and not get fancy.

2. I don't know about that new-fangled stuff, but I do have some 100 year old plaster walls

for something not too heavy I make a little X out of two pieces of tape - cloth medical tape is best but getting hard to find, I have used scotch tape, electrical and even duct tape. then using a sharp, say inch or inch and a half finishing nail (with the small heads) tap that baby into the middle of the tape. The tape should keep the plaster from crumbling too much and allow the nail to get a good start - continue to the length you want sticking out and hammer away.

using the heel of my shoe as the hammer of course.
