The Bakery Messed Up My Cake
My girlfriend is flying in from Los Angeles for the Labor Day weekend so I went to the bakery and ordered a cake that should have said "Welcome Back Janelle"... When I got home and opened the box it said "Happy Birthday Janelle"... Her birthday was July 1

Grrrrr....

3. can you scrape it off?
I did that one time when an expensive bakery wrote the message on this white and raspberry cake in DAYGLO orange frosting. I scraped off the message and then spread a thin layer of simmered raspberries over the top. You could do the same with a chocolate topping of some kind, or whipping cream even.

5. Sprinkle water on the top until the words "Happy Birthday" blur.

Then tell her, oh, I don't know... someone left the cake out in the rain...

8. Just tell her that seeing you should be like a "rebirth" for her.
That's not cocky, or anything...
