Working in Baltimore

Any Baltimorites out there? I'd like your thoughts on what it's like for young peopple to live and work in the city. Or work in the city and commute. Availability and quality of rentals. Quality of life. The usual stuff. Not for me. I've had my fill of life in the city. But for a relative, single, male. Thanks.
