15. With Bacon.
I don't usually eat pig and hardly ever have grits, but something about grits requires extra vitamin bacon.

16. On someone else's plate
I think it may be just that I've never had them properly made or something because I like corn bread and some polentas I've had but during my time in the south while I was in the Air Force I tried grits a few times and no matter what they were mixed with (or nakkid) they were just awful.

28. I like the instant variety. Country Ham and Red-Eye Gravy.
I add a couple of pats of butter and a slice of American cheese, then I gently fry an egg, over easy and add it. I slice that egg into smallish bits and I've got breakfast! YUM!

And to think, there was once a time I would not eat grits!

Mmmmmmmm. Grits..... In a big bowl (think soup tureen size) with two eggs over easy on top, then 2 extra crisp strips of bacon of top of the eggs. Stir until well mixed, then scarf.

42. I'm looking forward to grits with Baconsalt(tm)!
But I haven't gotten my shipment yet. www.baconsalt.com/

So I picked Cheesey (& Spicy?)

However, with Eggs over EZ & Bacon is the classic method. Of course grits is/are tasteless! Hence the runny yolk & bacon grease.

45. I don't think I've ever had them
somehow I think of them as the corn version of Cream of Wheat, which I like with a little milk and a little maple syrup.

With grits being corn, the thought of cheese sounds tempting....
