It's been four years since Danny passed
He was such a talent and a great guy to work with. I just ran across this "demo" of one of his songs were I played the sloppy drum parts, but the song was so good. Ladies and gentlemen, Danny Frye singing his song "Heartless" with Johnnie on drums..LOL

1. My dear johnnie!
When I click on the link, it comes up...

But nothing happens!

And I want to hear it...

8. I'll try it again!
How long do you think I need to wait?

I had nothing after about 30 seconds...

Maybe I'm too impatient!

:hi:

2. Never heard of him
What happened to him? Damned sad at any rate (nice voice btw, reminds me of Elvis).

3. He died of diabetes they say

He really liked his smack though. So I don't know. His last album was friggin fantastic but this song was just a demo he did for it. I played the drum parts but I'm not on the record. He was a talent and I wish he would have lived to go on. He was working with Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols before he passed and I wish he could have done that.

5. It's cool
I am just feeling a bit reflective. I found this cut and it brought back some memories. He is one of quite a few friends that passed away way too early. Danny was a great talent and could have done well. I just thought about him after I found this file and thought some may like to hear it.

7. You sounded alright, johnnie
Sad song, great voice. I was born in '72 and I didn't get my shit together until 2003.

9. Thanks Droopy
I was engineering that session and they needed someone to play the drum parts so I said I would. The album version is much different, but this version was much more true to heart. He was a great guy and I miss him.
