Wonderful slide show of polar bear playing with dog

This wild polar bear visited the dog every day for a week to play with him. The pictures are amazing. Considering how hungry the bears are up there because of global warming, it is amazing--and very, very sweet--that the bear just wanted a playmate, not a quick and easy meal.

what kind of "husky manager" leaves his dog on a chain when in danger of being eaten by a bear? If things had turned out differently, the dog couldn't even run. What kind of "husky manager" doesn't try to defend his dogs?

2. Oh, I agree. After the first play date, when the bear didn't eat the dog,

I would have said, "Whew!" and then never left the dog out there again for the bear to visit. I suspect the photographer was more interested in getting amazing pictures than in protecting the dog. I am furious about the dog owner, but still deeply touched by the bear and the dog playing together.
