19. Computer geek
But I guess "work" isn't really giving the full answer. I don't have to be in until about 8 but I get up early to exercise , still I've been waking up about an hour earlier than I need to even to allow for exercise time.

15. Combination of night owl and a woman
It's always about a woman. I don't eat. I don't sleep. I always get rejected if I ask and the harder I fight the feelings, the worse it seems to get. I should just learn to surrender and accept the rejection. Maybe make it my new goal in life to get rejected until I don't care any more. It might do me some good.

So, I'm naturally a night owl, but right now there is a woman I don't stand a chance with, so I'm trying to do something/anything to get her off my mind.

16. It is the same with men
last week I had problems with my bf ... I didn't eat (OK, I ate almost nothing), slept bad, woke up early ... when you are in love and are either rejected or are hurt .... I call it the "unintended diet".

I hope you get her out of your mind soon and can move on

26. Absolutely
Concerns the Battle East of Gettysburg. That occurred almost simultaneously with the romanticized "Pickett's Charge" .

Two of the Great Cavalry Megalomaniacs in American History, to wit,
Gen. George Armstrong Custer and Gen. J.E.B. Stuart fought the greatest cavalry battle in American history. If Custer doesn't stop Stuart; Stuart strikes the Union lines from the rear and........today there would be a Confederate States of America south of Maryland.

57. OK, I ate.
Harleydad fed the kitties as soon as he got up. Now that we have the internets here he didn't have to go to the other house to work today. :)

Sigh ... haven't had time to make more nutola for a while. Been eating frozen boxed thingies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Too tired to even shop for real food. But soon we'll get back on a regular schedule and start making nutritious meals again. ;)

I do have to go, though, so I can get some things done. No rest for the wicked, as they say. I hope the rest of your day is good and you have a wonderful weekend! :loveya:  :hi:

Wasn't up late (for a change) - I zonked out around 9:45 last night. We are getting up at 5:25 a.m. to eat something before beginning our daily Ramadan fast. Then we go back to sleep for about an hour.

47. I have a question
and I hope you don't find it inappropriate.

While Ramadan you aren't allowed to eat and drink during the day. I can understand the not eating part as a fast to clean yourself from the inside as well. But why aren't you allowed to drink? Isn't that really unhealthy? When you fast "normally" you are supposed to drink the whole day and drink a lot.

Could you please explain that to me?

60. Not at all
We suffer no ill effects from not drinking anything. We just load up with water in the morning when we eat. When we fast, we deny ourselves everything pleasurable, including sex (only daytime!) One purpose is to make us appreciate what we have and to understand what the less fortunate are experiencing when they go without food and water.

but only because I dress warm (esp. in the evening) and cover underneath blankets. But still if I read on hand has to be in the cold and is turning blue

I am hating with gas and I can decide how often and how warm. I have an apt with my own gas heater system. Love it.
