7. The best anti-drug commercials are never the slice-of-life talk-to-your-kids kind.

The best two I ever saw:

One was for a drug and alcohol rehab program (forgot the name). It takes place at a funeral in a cemetery. There is melancholy singing on the soundtrack as the camera pans past the mourners. The voice-over says: "Only one place admits more alcohol and drug dependents than ( Clinic name)..."

The other one had a sexy female voice representing cocaine asking grim-faced addicts: "Would you lie, cheat and steal for me?...would you give up your job for me?...would you abandon your family for me?...

They all nod or offer a sad "Yes", until the end: "Would you DIE for me?...

The guy says: "I'll die".

Those were pretty powerful.

telling that chick that she's changed and stuff, and he wishes she would stop smoking pot. I mean, shouldn't she be a little less concerned with quitting smoking pot, and more concerned with getting some anti-psychotic meds in her, since she's hearing the dog talk to her and all?

also, how in the hell did marijuana get that one girl pregnant?
