fever, body aches, totaly exhaustion and my brain is fuzzy and hurts
can someone just put me out of my misery? I feel so shitty and I can't take a day off. The last time I felt this crappy was when I had my appendix out. How the hell can I make it though the day when my body is screaming at me to go to sleep but there's too much stuff to do? Can someone please make the world stop so that I can rest until this flu/cold/whateverthefuck it is goes away? Anyone got some magic chicken soup? or a way to shut the world off for a while?

1. Thera-Flu (the non-drowsy daytime kind). It tastes awful, but it works...n/t

2. I'm so sorry...
that you're feeling bad. Comtrex works, also. I feel your pain. I've been up since 2:00 a.m. vomiting. We had chinese last night and I think the shrimp was bad. I'm just a little luckier than you, because I'm on vacation this week...still sucks, though.

3. It's likely influenza
Colds don't usually cause fevers and "Oh God kill me now" body aches. The last time I had the flu, I wanted to cry from the pain if someone *touched* me too firmly. Ugh.

If it's the flu, you need to see a doc and stay home from work. If you don't take a couple of days off, you risk passing along those germs to other people. The flu can kill older people, small children, and people with compromised immune systems, so it's pretty serious, and not something you want to pass around. :(

Go see a doc, find out for sure if it's influenza (there's a fast test they can do) and get thyself to bed.
