Gods I am strange
Before I moved to California, the exaggerated midwestern accent (as portrayed in the movie, "Fargo") used to bug the shit out of me. I swore up and down that I did not sound like that. Now that I have been here a year, it is as if I accentuate my midwestern accent. No, it is not as pronounced as in the movie (unless I am really trying) but it is definitely there.

1. i moved so much growing up
that i can pick up an accent in no time flat. i know people make fun of madonna but, i understand how that happens. :shrug:

2. Fargo is my favorite movie.
I know somebody who sounds like the people in the movie, I think the accent is nice.

15. The accent gets more pronounced the further northwest you go
But there are deep pockets of it in the Twin Cities, particularly amongst the Scandinavians.
