23. I swear the reason that Mike Castle wins as our US Representative
is because people think it's neato to live in New Castle County and vote for Mike Castle.

Other than that - this state is solid blue. At least Mike Castle is pretty progressive for a republican

27. It's got a ring to it.
Delaware's three counties are LynneSin, Kent, Sussex.

It rolls off the tongue. Kids could memorize that just as easily as New Castle, Kent, Sussex.

17. I don't pick on Delaware
I'm was born there and I buy most of my booze there. Cheaper than Jersey, less tax and better selection. And it's only 25 minutes away, if 95 isn't all blocked up. And when it is blocked it's Pennsylvania's fault.

Of course, I live in Philadelphia now. Couldn't wait to leave. But that had more to do with my family than the place itself.
And Wilmington is revitalizing although it's still small towny.

:)

Maine, while larger, is something like 75% (at least) forest and backwoods-ness, and there are plenty of old mill towns and whatever. And our turnpike can be pretty damn sucky.

But we gots da blueness at the coast!!!

and wonder why Democrats would hate their state and all that.

People pick on Delaware because of one annoying toll booth........made irrelevant by EZPass
