3. Yes,

but Mother Nature doesn't seem to care that this state markets itself as "sunny Ticino." We had snow on our mountain tops yesterday morning, down to 400 meters or so. :(

5. I saw your thread about it yesterday

I felt with you. Today it seems like we have November and not September.

I wonder, maybe we get a REAL winter this year with white Christmas. But somehow I doubt it. We will have snow in November but a week before Christmas temps will rise to 15°C again and it will feel like spring :eyes:

This summer was not as good as last summer and fall. :banghead:

I think last fall was a fluke. This year seems like when I lived here in 2001, wechselhaft, immer. :eyes:

12. Once spent Jan. & Feb. in Germany.

Flying a TWA 727 shuttle between Munich, Frankfort, and Stuttgart.
It was overcast the whole time.
The only time I saw the sun was above the clouds on a flight.
We'd go into the ceiling at around 200-300 feet, and come out again at destination.

We developed the Weather Related Theory of German Aggression:
The population sits there in the rain and dark for months and they get depressed and cranky and finally angry so they go out and invade somebody.
