3. Were you sentenced
to write 108 pages by a crazy judge?

I have never heard of a writer who knew the exact number of pages he was going to write before hand...

Explain.

6. Being an Aspie, I tend to pick up these little things...
Besides, I'd want a book 100 pages or longer... and when I saw the word count, I quickly memorized it.

I'm also fairly good with phone numbers, 25 character Microsoft product key codes, and user passwords, so please hide those from me.

12. Note to self
keep all wep keys away from hypnotoad....

My son has the same sort of ability to remember whatever he reads, sees or hears. It is annoying - He also has managed to figure out my husbands and My passwords - In fact, I just changed my master password on my computer die to this.:yoiks:

13. I appreciate the sentiment, but I do work on the side of niceness and goodness.
When telling people I need them to log on, they always speak their password out loud or, worse, write it down for me saying "I don't care, it's no big deal". Assuming they don't have it taped to their monitors already... So I have to get all animated, cover my eyes or ears, and say "No no no no no! Don't tell me!"

10. Thanks!
I'm hoping to hawk my first book by October's end.

Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be out with my laptop just typing away. I love my main computer, named Percy, but the internet, gaming, and that porno website might be a bit of a distraction...

8. Mind if I ask what the subject is?
I'm facinated with the process of book writing. I like to read interviews of various authors to get an idea of how they do it.

9. Three
1 is an autobiography plus* guide for people with Asperger's Syndrome.
2 is a book on assorted observations, including black licorice (think Andy Rooney or a tasteful version of Seinfeld)
3 is a story to be adapted for a teleplay; think "Lifetime" or the ilk as it is melodramatic and deals with, you guessed it, Asperger's Syndrome.

How do I do it? I write down ideas and expound upon them in my free time. Thanks to ADD, it becomes a chore to have to put off things, but using recognizable key words, I can put most ideas on hold and write them in properly later on. Heck, I even have a notepad by my bed because, if an idea and/or the urge to take a whiz happens at 2AM, I am not going to turn on the computer just to update one little note and have to re-adjust my eyes to the brightness.

Now do you see why I need to get a date?

* Oh, there's a more professional sounding word that means "plus". Sadly, it also doubles as a no-no function that might incline some to lock this thread.
