Avoiding my housework... somebody kick me outta this chair!
O.k... so i've been a lazy schlub for a day and a half...

This stuff isn't going to get done by itself, but i am feeling ill-motivated.

Help... somebody light a fire under my ass and get me moving!

Oktoberain's stuy-buddy from her Poli-Sci class is coming over later...

Thanks for the offer, though...

Think i'll burn some "get motivated" cleaning music, then start in the kitchen...

2. I'm avoiding it too!

LOL! Although I did just start a load of dishes but only because I couldn't find a clean glass! :P
I have a shitload of laundry to do also and I was sort of motivated last night to start a load
because I was cold and all I could find to wear to bed were shorts and a t-shirt! Brr!! Thanks
for the reminder! I'll run to the laundry room in a few. I did fill a basket already! ;)

Edited to add: I forgot to add a 'motivator'

MOLD!!

Do what I've been trying to do. I grab dirty glasses as I am heading to the kitchen or I
pickup trash or laundry on my way out of one room to the kitchen trash can or a laundry basket.

4. I made a list last night of all the stuff i need to do around here...
...and haven't done a bit of it yet.

I'm getting up to get busy, though...
if i'm diligent, i may have time to do 3-4 loads of clothes, the dishes, and maybe the rest of the living room and kitchen.

5. Good on you!
Part of the reason I'm not that motivated is because I'm sort of on 'strike'.

My teen son does not clean up after himself and so I've been so angry about it, that I've
been letting his messes (not that I don't make any) pile up right in front of his favorite
place to sit and eat- the TV! :P I do pick up after myself usually but my strike isn't working,
so now I'm just packing up most of the dishes and he'll have limited access until we move! ;)

7. Well, that's why I hadn't washed any!

He keeps finding ways though or he gets take out! Argh! I have already packed two boxes of dishes
and then he brings dishes, from the set I packed, down from his room too! :grr: He keeps telling
me that there aren't any dirty dishes in his room but if that's true, how come they keep appearing
in my kitchen sink? The set I packed only has 8 place settings! lol! I must have miscounted because
I thought I had packed them all. *sigh*
