What do you do on cold, windy, rainy days?
It's cold, windy, rainy here and I'd love to read what you do on days like this.

1. Housecleaning, today.
And the Sunday crossword. I might make soup later--it's a good soup day.

My crazy husband is out riding his bike. A die-hard, that one.

3. Open all the curtains and enjoy it! Then maybe make some tea,
read a book or watch TV snuggled up in a blanket on the couch.

I love cold, windy, rainy days.

6. Smile. And feel comfortable for a change.
When is summer ever going to end? I've been sweating since we went back to school in August. Ugh.

7. Go out
I love that kind of weather. Just bundle up and get out there. You'll probably find the lines are shorter wherever it is you go.

12. Go for a run.
There is something exilerating about running in the rain with the wind blowing knowing other people must think you are nuts but you are feeling so alive.

14. I love the sound of rain on the roof
And the way the sky looks. I like to build a fire in the wood stove on those days, have a cup of tea and/or some soup, read a book and just relax and enjoy my toasty house. :hi:

I live in the desert and we are in what has been described as a 20 year drought, so I NEVER bitch about rain.

24. Start a pot of chili simmering on the stove, bake a cake or apple pie...
have a fire going in the fireplace and enjoy the aroma of home cookin'! Nothin' is better than that.

Rainy days are good for cleaning closets or cupboards. You can get lost in all the things you forgot you had. Reminds me of exploring the attic as a child.
