Only one game away from the playoffs now... and they'd written us off at the beginning of the month :)

Too bad I'm stuck here in Boston with our sucky team... hey, wait a minute...

My dad was at the game today and I wouldn't be surprised if he walked straight down to the box office and got in line for tix to tomorrow's game. I wish I could go with him, but I'll be watching it on the web :(

8. I just checked
He last pitched Wednesday (shut out the Dodgers — 6 2/3 innings, 97 pitches), so Monday would be his regular turn. Same with Peavy, but here's a plus: If the Rox win, then Francis starts the first NLDS game against the Phillies. If the Madres win, they don't have Peavy until at least Friday.

15. I know you're being a bit sarcastic
but what a run! I've been keeping up with it on MLB.com, and you guys have had such a wonderful ride. I hope you win against San Diego tomorrow. It's nothing personal against San Diego, but I just find their team very, very dull.

That game was one hell of a nail-biter, that's for sure. All the cards fell our way the last couple of days, and I like Colorado's chances tomorrow night, especially since we'll be playing at home. LET'S GO ROCKIES!!!

7. I'm kinda mad actually
I mean for once in my life (well, second time but I was 9 the first time) the Rox do something like this and I'm outta state. I can't even get it on TV, probably. Boooooooo...

I'll be cheering my ass off from my apartment watching it on the inter-web though. My neighbors will probably think I've gone nuts.

10. I ALMOST just bought tickets for the game.
BUT I don't get off work until 4:00pm tomorrow, and I don't know if the buses will be running. So, I'll just have to watch at home.

If the Rockies make it to the series against the Phillies, however, I have tickets for Game 4 next Sunday at Coors Field. I AM SERIOUSLY hoping the Rox can make it to that point!

16. Basically, I just started this new job, and I start a new phase of it tomorrow.
I really CAN'T call in sick. Besides, I'm still on my 90-day probation period, and I've already called in sick once.

14. I'm so happy about the playoff
I have nothing against the Padres, per se, but they bore the hell out of me. They have good pitching, but their bats are so anemic. The Rockies have played the best baseball this last half month, and they deserve this chance.
