2. Sort of like Billy's fantasy

I thought of "Billy" tonight watching Ken Burns documentary when they covered the firebombing of Dresden. Didn't realize it was Stalin who talked US and Britain into doing all the bombing.

In the book and the film, that is.

The Tralfamadorians brought her to their planet, as they did Billy, in hopes of an Earthling being born there.

Vonnegut goofed, though. While he noted that Billy could be on Tralfamadore and not be missed on Earth because Tralfamadorians live in the fourth dimension, he also wrote that Ms. Wildhack was noted as missing by a magazine containing one of Kilgore Trout's short stories; its cover story was "Whatever became of Montana Wildhack?"

I also just noticed this thread is a copycat. Oh, well... x(
