I'll need it! My boss says he's moving the office, but he hasn't shown me the new one. I asked if it had proper ventillation (since it is right next door to a marble carving facility, I don't want to breathe marble dust all day). He said "we'll buy a fan". I translated this to mean there is no ventillation, and no air conditioning (it was 103 degrees yesterday). I reminded him that the computer would melt unless it is cool, and he grudgingly said he'd buy an air conditioner-if there is a window. I then asked if there was a bathroom. He didn't know-but there are plenty of factories and businesses around, so I guess he figures I can go next door when I have to go.
If I get to the new office and there is no heat, ventillation, and bathroom, I think I will go on strike (a union of one in a 'right to work' state). Anyone know if there are laws about workplace safety that I could use in favor of my case?
